Is it an old ?????????
Okay, so I was cleaning my attic yesterday and I came across this mirror (Loll took most of the day to remove the dust!) I cleaned up and is very nice indeed. It has a silver handle with gold roses engraved on it, the cut (the part that surrounds the glass) is gold, and the back has this really beautiful color illustration of a bouquet of flowers (roses ect of ......). lilly I asked my grandmother, great (yes still alive) if it was her and she said no and that was actually my great, grandmother, great as a child. Well, the part that excites me is that my great grandmother, great, great collected real gold and silver items of all kinds and I'm really hoping for gold and silver. So the question is, is an antique? I keep it as it is my great, great grandmothers, great?? If not, how much I can sell for?
I think it is worthy of celebration if the space permits. Why not? If you get rid of it, the decision shall be final and if you ever want more than you will have no choice. Nobody will able to say the value without an image. I've never seen an old mirror in Antique Roadshow, so I have no idea whether they are collectors. I would like to see done eBay items to see if something similar recently sold.
